So I’ve heard about this place word of mouth so we decided to give it a try. I booked it for last night, a cold Tuesday night. They only open at 4:00 and at 4:30 I was so shocked that they had so many people waiting. It’s definitely a popular place. The service was nice, Stephen had good customer service. I do wish we had gotten our waters filled up but other than that no complaints. Now on to the food- I ended up getting a 8oz center cut filter mignon i give it a 8.5/10 it was a good cut of meat I just don’t think I’m a fan of wood grilled/fired meat. My boyfriend got the 18oz cowboy cut his rating was an 8/10. The sides were 10/10 the mushrooms with truffle butter were honestly the best mushrooms I’ve ever had! The scallops were okay a little underwhelming. The mashed potatoes were good too and I added some of the truffle butter on them that brought out some flavor! The bread was good and what was interesting was the pastrami spiced butter that they gave with it that was tasty. The drinks were good. The desserts were great my boyfriend tried the chocolate velvet cake and he really enjoyed it. It’s very chocolatey and rich. The vanilla bean creme brulee was amazing! Over all we would go back to try some other things.

Wow.... This place was beautiful.... The service was phenomenal. The atmosphere was elegant. I took my husband here for his birthday. We had a little dinner party, and when I tell you, our waiter was phenomenal. I would definitely go to this place again. I will definitely recommend this place if you want to take your spouse out to a nice, elegant dinner or if you guys are celebrating an anniversary, Birthday, or Valentine's day.This is the perfect place to bring them. This was my first time ever in this facility? When I tell you, I will definitely go back again. It's a little pricey, but it's well worth it.

Awesome food, service, and ambiance. Their steaks and sides are always our favorites. The onion rigs were too thick for our liking, but everything else was very tasty.

I felt obligated to leave a review after having such a wonderful dining experience at JGilbert's this week. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and decided to try JGilbert's for the first time. Everything was perfect. We were seated promptly in a very comfortable little table. The dining room feels comfortable and is not too crowded with the other tables, which I really enjoyed. Our server Lisa was absolutely phenomenal and very attentive to our table. She made great recommendations and always seemed to be right there when needed. Thank you Lisa!! The highlight was the food! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. The strip steak was phenomenal! The best steak I've had out in quite some time. Thank you to everyone at JGilbert's who made our visit so perfect. We will certainly be back!

Food was delicious. The ingredients were fresh. We really enjoyed the delicious scallops and the creme brulee. The oyster Rockefeller was some of the best I’ve had. The crab bisque was really tasty as well. The au gratin potatoes were so warm, cheesy, with a nice hint of garlic. The green beans are not your basic green beans. Our waiter Brian was very welcoming, pleasant and informative.

Top tier service! Corbin, our server, was very knowledgeable and consistent on making sure everything was to our liking! Food was delicious from the appetizer to dessert. My fiance and I went to celebrate our engagement. The portions are sizable, so we had one appetizer to share. When it came to mains, we both ordered steak. Unfortunately, mine had come a bit overdone, Corbin realized without me saying anything and immediately placed another order for me! We will be going back 100%!

It was our first time at J. Gilbert and hopefully not our last. Kyle was our server and he took the time to explain the wine list and our menu. The only take away was our table. It was too small to accommodate our food. We had the cowboy ribeye, seared scallops and crab cakes. All were cooked to perfection. I will recommend this place to everyone.

I visited J Gilbert’s for the first time to celebrate my husbands birthday. Our experience was phenomenal. The atmosphere was sexy and sophisticated, dimly lit with a mature aesthetic. The food was top tier. We had the award wining crab cakes with the delicious mango salsa as a starter, my husband had the seared scallops with lobster risotto which melted in your mouth and I had grilled lobster tail entree with asparagus and mashed potatoes that were brag worthy! We ended our meal with their classic house made vanilla bean ice cream- so creamy and rich! But the star of the show was our server Nick- all his recommendations were spot on, his smile, warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home. Stan (I believe he is management) frequently checked on us and made us feel just as welcomed. This has by far been our favorite date night spot to dine at thus far. We will be back!
